Thegrid needs to be adapted not only to human consumption, but also because of changing technologies such as central generation. If a home has solar panels, there is not only a purchase of electricity, but there is also a supply of electricity to the grid.

Are you ready to turn your technical knowledge into practical experience? Do you feel like working on innovative charging infrastructure, monument lighting and sustainable sports fields? Then you are the Junior Project Leader we are looking for!
Tasks
As a Project Leader, you will actively participate in our electrical installation projects from day one. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and get plenty of opportunities to grow independently in your role. You will communicate with customers,partners and technicians and ensure that each project runs smoothly and efficiently.
- You coordinate projects from preparation to completion
- You maintain contact with customers,study agencies and subcontractors
- You prepare lighting plans, measurement statements and technical drawings
- You help track planning, material orders and budgets
- You ensure correct administration in Navision (ERP)
- You visit sites and support the implementation team
- You monitor safety, quality and timing on site
- You spot potential commercial opportunities
Your profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electricity, electromechanics or similar
- First experience or internship in a technical or coordinating role
- Communicative, accurate and strong in organizing
- Hands-on mentality, with positional leadership skills
- Motivated to grow and firm enough to take responsibility

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, we were present at the Technoboost edition in Izegem. This event offered an excellent opportunity to inform young people and their teachers about the possibilities within our company, both in terms of internships and future jobs.
In 2024 we again participated in the whale fishing sloop race, this time with two teams. During the exciting open final our teams achieved 5th and 10th place respectively. We are particularly proud of their excellent efforts!

On Oct. 17, 2024, the Youca Action Day took place, a wonderful initiative that gives young people the opportunity to spend a day working with a company. The goal is to raise money for projects fighting for a more just society. I was given the unique opportunity to work with my dad for one day at Verstraete Enterprises. I was really looking forward to this.
The future belongs to the youth and Technoboost in Torhout was an excellent opportunity for them as well as for our company! It was an opportunity for us to motivate young people for a technical ob.
On Tuesday, October 15, 2024 Light Infra organized a training day for apprentices in Herentals in collaboration with RTC Antwerp for the 2nd time.
An employee satisfaction survey was conducted in October 2024 in cooperation with the HR department as part of a training project. The survey was completed by both blue and white collar workers, which provided a balanced picture of the work environment.
