We are looking for a driver who is not only responsible for driving, but also willing to actively participate in manual tasks in the field. The position includes installing piles, which includes digging wells.
Internal training and supervision
Don't have any experience with a truck-mounted crane yet? No problem! At Verstraete Enterprises, you get the chance to learn this on the job, under the guidance of an experienced mentor. You will be trained step by step, so you are never alone. We provide regular evaluation moments to discuss your progress and adjust where necessary, so that you can grow at your own pace.
Tasks
For public and sports lighting activities, we are specifically looking for a crane operator who can work with a truck-mounted crane. Your day will be as follows:
- You place the necessary signage
- You take away the old lighting pole using a truck-mounted crane
- You perform preparatory works for the installation of the new pole
- You electrically connect the pole to the grid
- You finish the site according to the standards
Your profile
- You are in possession of a valid C/CE driving license and driver's license (Code 95 is not a requirement).
- You have experience with a truck-mounted crane or want to undergo internal training
- You communicate fluently in Dutch or English
- You are a team player and safety is one of your core values

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024 Light Infra organized a training day for apprentices in Herentals in collaboration with RTC Antwerp for the 2nd time.
An employee satisfaction survey was conducted in October 2024 in cooperation with the HR department as part of a training project. The survey was completed by both blue and white collar workers, which provided a balanced picture of the work environment.
